This workshop provides participants with concrete tools to improve actionable impact evaluation practices at their organisation, tailored to Civic Technology interventions.

J-PAL staff briefly explain the pros and cons of different methods of impact evaluation, from randomised evaluation to lab-in-the-field and quasi-experimental methods, then lead small group exercises to enable participants to begin planning their own evaluation.

Participants will depart the workshop with a clear sense of the steps involved in carrying out an experimental or quasi-experimental evaluation, and a suite of resources (including contact information of J-PAL staff) for further follow-up and learning.
