Frequently asked questions about TICTeC 2025
We will soon be opening our Call for Proposals, where you can apply to do a 20 minute presentation (in person or remotely), or a workshop (in person only). Sign up for our email updates and we’ll let you know as soon as proposals open.

mySociety is able to provide a small number of discounted or free tickets to those who otherwise would not be able to attend. To enquire about this, please email tictec@mysociety.org.
We can provide you with an invitation letter for your visa application once you have registered. Get in touch with a copy of your passport, your full affiliation, yourfull professional address: tictec@mysociety.org. If for any reason you cannot obtain a visa, we will refund your ticket price in full.
Yes. If you can’t make it and want to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email tictec@mysociety.org with the name and organisation of the person you would like to transfer to at least 48 hours ahead of the event.
No, you don’t need to print off your ticket, but you do need to show us your Eventbrite registration order confirmation on your phone when you arrive, so we can welcome you into the event. If you don’t have a phone, you should print off your ticket so you can show us your order confirmation that way.
Yes. If you’d like to know who else will be coming, the names of guests who give their consent will be added to this Google spreadsheet as they sign up.
The conference venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users. If you plan to attend TICTeC with a personal care attendant/assistant, their conference fee will be waived. Please contact tictec@mysociety.org to arrange the fee waiver/registration.
Yes, the TICTeC 2025 venue has gender-neutral toilets.
We don’t offer refunds, but you can transfer the ticket to a colleague or friend. In the event that you are unable to come, please let us know ASAP by emailing tictec@mysociety.org so that we can make your space available to another guest.
