Rodney operated in the investment industry as an analyst, senior manager, advisor, venture capitalist and entrepreneur. This gives him several vantage points into what makes organisations succeed or fail. In 1999, Rodney founded ClearlySo, Europe’s leading impact investment bank, which intermediated capital from investors to high-impact funds and enterprises. In 2020, he shifted to concentrate on badly needed innovations in the political realm, starting with an MSc degree in Democracy and Comparative Politics at UCL in London, with a focus on democratic innovation. Since completing his studies, Rodney has become active in several roles within this new and fast-growing sector, with UK organisations Delib (a SAAS business focused on civic engagement) and Demos (a cross-party think tank), as well as Vienna-based Vision61 (a new-style governmental consultancy) and Partisan (a community for political professionals) based in Berlin.
