Chao-Chi is the Deputy General Director at the Democracy Network Department of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Taiwan.

Chao-Chi serves as the Deputy Director-General at the Democracy Network Department within Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA). He is primarily responsible for promoting cooperation with international democracy alliances, facilitating the ‘Public Code, Public Money’ policy, introducing Web3 and DIW technologies, and establishing and enforcing the related regulations and measures.

Before his tenure at MODA, he was the Executive Secretary, tasked with operating and maintaining the E-Government Procurement System and enhancing the transparency and availability of open data in government procurement. Additionally, he held the position of Participation Officer, during which he assisted the public sector in soliciting and incorporating feedback from the general public and coordinating cross-agency policy initiatives.
