Bushra Mustafa is an accomplished Technology Lead with extensive product and project management expertise. Her work with Code for Pakistan has been marked by the successful delivery of key product milestones and project deliverables, always adhering to quality standards. Most recently, Bushra led the development of the HCAI Surveillance Application in partnership with WHO & PIMS, a major technological advancement in healthcare monitoring.
Previously, as a Program Coordinator, she led the delivery of CfP’s flagship programs, including the TECH-NIH Fellowship Program and the KP Women Civic Digital Internship Program. Bushra’s leadership was instrumental during two cycles of the Internship Program, which provided skill development to women from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in 59 interns receiving comprehensive ICT sector training.
Bushra began her professional journey as a Digital Marketing Fellow in the second cycle of the KP Fellowship program in 2017. Before joining Code for Pakistan, she served as an Editor at Daastan, a startup based out of Lahore offering independent writers a self publishing platform,
and a Marketing Fellow for PITB’s tech incubator.
Bushra holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, and a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, Islamabad, where she was a Gold Medalist. Her diverse skills and leadership abilities make her a pivotal contributor to Pakistan’s technological and digital advancement landscape.
