This session offers participants the opportunity to collaboratively develop connections across the different research and practitioner communities in Civic Tech.
Through a panel and group work, we learn about how the range of researchers bridge different research practices, explore the multiple roles that Civic Tech practitioners and researchers play, and facilitate discussion among researchers and practitioners on practical issues to increase the ways that useful knowledge about Civic Tech gets created, shared, and incorporated into our projects. As a working session, this workshop features small group discussion, interactive feedback, and an active role for participants in shaping action moving forward.
TICTeC supports the mission of the non-profit mySociety by bringing together practitioners, commentators, academics and funders to debate, network, and share research and knowledge in the civic tech field.
